Camden community play space

We were commissioned by a community member to reimagine their local play area, which was underutilised and posed safety concerns due to outdated equipment causing injuries to children during play. Following a briefing, we presented three innovative design directions to the community:

Option 1: Emphasising communal seating.

Option 2: Centred around movement and play.

Option 3: A daring wildcard featuring a sculpture integrated with play elements.

 

After a thorough public consultation, Option 2 emerged as the chosen design for further development.
